Page Steed/PS Ventures is an INVITED ARTIST in the Amarillo Museum of Art’s 2019 12 x 12 ART EXHIBITION AND SILENT AUCTION. This is the 14th annual 12×12, and we hope to attract a large crowd to competitively bid on—and ultimately purchase — artwork. This annual benefit is designed to bring the community together to celebrate art, forge new friendships and support AMoA’s innovative Arts-in-Education programs. This one-night event will take place at the AMoA on Thursday, October 3, 2018, from 6:30 to 8:30. Admission is $12 per person.

Page’s entry this year is a photographic art print on white linen, of a magnificent male black bear (although he was a chocolate brown) (Ursus americanus), whose intense glare will give you chills!
This is the 14th annual 12 x 12, and Amarillo Museum of Art (AMoA) hopes to attract a large crowd to competitively bid on—and ultimately purchase artwork. This annual benefit is designed to bring the community together to celebrate art, forge new friendships and support AMoA’s innovative Arts-in-Education programs. This one-night event will take place at the AMoA on Thursday, October 3, 2019, 6:30 – 8:30 pm.
The exhibition will include artworks from invited artists, as well as work from artists juried into the exhibition. The gallery space limits the number of artworks in the exhibition to approximately 100 with the following targets:
- 50 artworks from artists invited to participate.
- 50 artworks from artists selected by jury to participate.
Page Steed/PS Ventures, Inc. is excited and proud to have been invited to participate for a third year! The artworks in the exhibition will be sold via silent auction at a starting bid of $120. Fifty percent of the sale price will go toward educational programming at AMoA and fifty percent will go to the artist, although artists may choose to donate their proceeds back to the Museum. The generosity and support shown by artists participating in this event is vital to AMoA’s museum and greatly appreciated by the Board of Trustees and Staff.

In continuance of the traditional First Friday Art Walks once held at Sunset Center, Barnes Jewelry is hosting a First Friday Art Walk on Friday, September 6, from 5pm – 8 pm. In addition to the artists displaying their work inside (including Page Steed/PS Ventures, Inc.!), there will be an outdoor tent celebration with additional artists, music by Hilary Marie, and the Stix food truck will be in the parking lot!
So bring your friends and family for a family style fun-packed evening. Enjoy the arts, have some yummy food and enjoy the music and friendly folk of Amarillo, Texas!
Page Steed / PS Ventures will be displaying photographic art at the Wine and Wagyu Grand Tasting at Frontier Park in Angel Fire, New Mexico, on Saturday, August 17, between 3-6 pm. This is but one event in the Wine and Wagyu Weekend put on by the Angel Fire Resort, the entire event lasting from Thursday, August 16, through Sunday, August 18.
Be sure to stop by the big white tent set up in Frontier Park (3367 Mountain View Blvd.) during the Grand Tasting and check out my display of outdoor, wildlife, and landscape photographic art, as well as those of three other featured artists!

What a pleasure to have been invited to be a part of a collection of art showings being hosted at Barnes Jewelry! In support of community artists and to save the arts, Barnesis providing opportunity for local artists to display in their location at 100 Westgate Parkway in Amarillo, Texas. Watch for more information and announcement from Barnes concerning this wonderful community venture, as more artists join in. This year’s tour includes 35 artists at 19 locations in the Angel Fire, Black Lake, and Taos Canyon vicinity. PS Ventures is excited to be participating again this year, featuring my studio at 19 Acoma Circle in Angel Fire, New Mexico. Page Steed / PS Ventures, Inc., is #3 on the tour map!
